Key Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to streamline logistics operations and enhance overall company performance Conduct regular reviews to optimize warehouse layouts for improved space utilization and workflow Analyze and improve logistics systems in Inbound, Outbound, and Perishables departments Lead and support logistics improvement projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and achieving objectives Collaborate with and lead short-term project teams to deliver results efficiently Implement and maintain "Lean Logistics" principles to drive continuous improvement Troubleshoot and resolve productivity issues in logistics processes Develop and maintain dashboards and Power BI reports for data-driven decision-making Build and manage comprehensive databases to support logistics operations and analysis What Our Client is Looking For
Matric and a tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering (essential) 1-2 years of relevant working experience in logistics, industrial engineering, or project management Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint) Programming experience is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Self-driven, goal-oriented, and eager to deliver results Leadership potential with the ability to work effectively in team environments Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
