Key Responsibilities:As the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the full consolidation process for multiple restaurant entities.
- Preparing group financial statements and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
- Overseeing intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensuring VAT, tax, and statutory compliance across all business units.
- Liaising with auditors, banks, and key stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- BCom with Honours in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential).
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on consolidations.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly restaurants (essential).
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, multi-entity environment.
