Job Opportunity: Actuary – Structuring & Solutions TeamMy client is seeking a driven and passionate problem solver to join their growing Structuring & Solutions team. If you are a nearly or newly qualified Actuary with experience in life insurance pricing, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:- Support pricing strategies for new and existing group and individual life insurance products.
- Review and refine pricing models to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Develop robust technical pricing models.
- Ensure regulatory and professional compliance by reviewing new products against relevant guidelines.
- Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of new deals to optimize business outcomes.
- Lead and mentor the Pricing team, providing guidance to junior actuarial analysts.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate complex technical insights effectively.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Innovative and collaborative with the ability to network with various stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with a range of actuarial techniques.
- Quick learner, self-starter, and adaptable to change.
- Ability to think laterally to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Nearly or newly qualified actuary.
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on life insurance pricing.
- Experience managing a team is advantageous.
