Description:
Purpose of the Role
To support, quote and generate parts sales with existing and potentially new customers.
Key Performance Areas
- Correctly identify the needs of the customer
- Build strong customer relationship
- Meet monthly parts sales targets
- Identify and implementation of parts sales campaigns
- Candidate would be solely responsible for the parts department, (picking/packing/stock variances)
- Processing of parts quotations and sales orders
- Assist service department to identify parts
- Book parts for service technicians
- Follow-up and resolve customer parts order enquiries
- Provide regular feedback to customers on back orders and stock
- Monthly parts sales performance and market activity reports
- Meet objectives set to achieve individual and team targets
- Assist with annual wall-to-wall stock take
- Assist finance department with debtor and vendor queries
- Accurate monthly forecasting according to pipeline/budget
- Regularly attend and participate in team POP meeting
- Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures
- Effective self-management and performance ownership
- Adherence to any reasonable instruction
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualification
- Grade 12
Minimum Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
