Accountable to the Board for implementing agreed Company strategy. Actively maintain a high-level view of the investment markets to provide strategic input to Board, retain existing clients, grow market share and foster a culture of excellence in service quality. Actively pursue the skills and experience needed for the role.
Business - Plans & Budgets
Strategy development to grow the business significantly over the next three to five years. (to be completed within six months after the successful candidates appointment to be facilitated by Rob Snow) Prepare Annual Business Plan and Budget for adoption by the Board. Monitor Company Performance against Business Plan and Budget.
Finance/Accounting/Administration
Oversee administration of Retirement Funds under management Ensure Administration, Consulting and Asset Consulting up to the level of matches that of leaders in the market. Manage Finances through control of Financial Administrator. Ensure the timely production of Monthly Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements.
Client Management
Maintain relationships with existing clients. Constantly explore innovations to provide a competitive edge that will secure new clients and retain existing clients. Provide Asset Consulting to clients to ensure correct Asset Liability Profile. Advise clients, generally, on tax implications.Business Development
Carry out appropriate market research to identify potential corporate and HNW clients. Prepare and deliver proposals to target clients. Assist with the acquisition of the administration, consulting and asset consulting appointments to retirement funds.
P roducts & Investments
Stay abreast of investment markets by attending presentations by Assets Managers. Maintain knowledge of financial products available to corporate and individual clients. Monitor the performance of Asset Managers relative to their investment mandates. Present investment opportunities and related analysis to Corporate and High Net Worth (HNW) clients
