Role Overview
Are you a driven and results-focused Recruitment Consultant with a passion for the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector? We are looking for a talented individual with 2+ years of agency recruitment experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will specialise in sourcing, engaging, and placing top talent within the M&E sector, working closely with clients across construction, engineering, and building services.

Key Responsibilities
🚀 Talent Sourcing & Candidate Engagement

Utilise various sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM, referrals) to attract top M&E talent.

Conduct candidate interviews, screenings, and assessments to ensure suitability for roles.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled candidates for both contract and permanent positions.

Support candidates throughout the recruitment process, from interview preparation to offer negotiation.
🤝 Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture relationships with new and existing M&E clients across construction, engineering, and related industries.

Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific talent requirements and business needs.

Provide market insights and advisory services on salary benchmarks, talent availability, and recruitment strategies.

Manage interviews, feedback sessions, and job offers between clients and candidates.
📈 Business Development & Growth

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our M&E client base.

Develop a specialist recruitment desk, ensuring consistent placements and revenue growth.

Maintain accurate CRM records and efficiently manage vacancy workflows.

Stay informed about industry trends, compliance regulations, and best recruitment practices.
Key Skills & Experience
✅ Minimum 2 years' recruitment experience within an agency environment.
✅ Experience in M&E, construction, or engineering recruitment (preferred but not essential).
✅ Strong business development and client management skills.
✅ Ability to source, attract, and engage mid-level candidates.
✅ Proficiency in CRM systems (Bullhorn preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
✅ Highly organised, target-driven, and able to perform under pressure.
