Optometrist

My client, an ophthalmologist / retinal specialist, based in Somerset West is urgently seeking to employ an Optometrist to join their practice. The success candidate will have anything from 1 - 5 years practice experience. Requirements include:

• At least 1 – 3 years industry experience
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Excellent communication skills
• Having the passion to work with patients / patient care
• Prioritization and organizational skills
• Be able to handle and work well under pressure
• Leadership Skills

Duties include but is not limited to:

• Pre-Operative Assessments
• Post-Operative Care
• Screening and Diagnostic Tests
• Collaborative Care
• Theatre preparation and stock management

Regular practice hours are from Monday to Friday 8.00 – 17.00.
