Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis & Reporting Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying trends and areas for cost reduction. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts. Provide actionable recommendations on cost-saving initiatives. Inventory & Production Costing Monitor and evaluate inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Implement standard costing and ensure accurate product costing. Support stock valuation and control processes. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and forecasts. Monitor and track cost performance against budgeted targets. Financial Control & Compliance Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by providing cost-related data. Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies. Process Improvement & Efficiency Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reduction. Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to streamline cost management processes.Requirements:
Proven experience in cost accounting or similar financial roles. Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Experience with inventory management and production costing. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
