Description:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the financial health and efficiency of the Restaurant ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. The role involves overseeing all accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop annual budgets and perform financial forecasting.Monitor and control expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.Identify financial risks and opportunities.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.Manage audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Strategic Financial Planning:Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Advise management on cost reduction strategies and profitability improvement.Contribute to business growth by analyzing market trends and financial risks.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.Develop staff competencies in financial best practices.- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting , Finance , or a related field.
- CIMA , CA(SA) , or ACCA qualification preferred.

- Managing staff rosters
- Capturing GRV’s
- Receiving stock
- Supplier payments and recons
- Payroll
- 5 years’ experience ,must have experience in Gaap
