Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their prestigious restaurant team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the seamless operation of the restaurant. Your role will involve overseeing daily activities, managing the front-of-house team, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will also support the training and development of staff, manage reservations, and handle guest concerns, all while ensuring the restaurant meets its operational and financial goals. Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and lead front-of-house staff, ensuring they meet the restaurant’s service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service and quality food and beverages.
- Oversee reservations and manage guest flow to ensure optimal seating and minimize wait times.
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Assist in organizing events, promotions, and special functions to enhance the guest experience.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in a fine dining or 5-star environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively.
- A strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, customer service, and inventory management.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and tact.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A degree in hospitality management or relevant field is a plus, but not required.
