Description:
My client is looking for an experienced Financial Operations Manager. Financial Operations Managers coordinate and supervise the financial activities of a company. They analyze the company's financial performance, identify trends, assess financial risks, and make recommendations to improve financial health.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel between branches.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
They develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and track actual performance against budget.
• Financial Analysis:
They analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential problems, and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Cash Flow Management:
They monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
• Financial Reporting:
They prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Cost Control:
They implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure that operations are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Process Improvement:
They identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
They work with other departments, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure that financial decisions support the overall business objectives.
• Risk Management:
They identify and manage financial risks, such as credit risk, currency risk, and interest rate risk.
• Compliance:
They ensure that the company complies with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Decision Making:
They help management make financial decisions by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Management Accounting: 6 to 7 years
- Monitoring Budgets: 6 to 7 years
- Financial Analysis And Monitoring: 6 to 7 years
- Risk Analysis And Forecasting: 6 to 7 years

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- AGA (SA) or CA (SA)- added advantage
- 8 - 10 years of experience in financial department.
- Budget preparation and analysis
- IFRS statutory reporting experience (essential)
- Tax experience (essential)
- Sage ERP (advantageous)
- Additional certification (e.g. CPA)
- Experience with consolidations (advantageous)
