Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying trends and areas for cost reduction.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide actionable recommendations on cost-saving initiatives.
- Inventory & Production Costing
- Monitor and evaluate inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Implement standard costing and ensure accurate product costing.
- Support stock valuation and control processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and track cost performance against budgeted targets.
- Financial Control & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing cost-related data.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to streamline cost management processes.
