Description:
Hire Resovles Client seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and drive on-site production while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, supervising casual labor, and maintaining site safety and organization.
Responsibilities:
Project Management (30%)
-
Develop and manage construction timelines, breaking them into weekly or monthly deliverables.

Track progress and drive production to meet deadlines.
-
Communicate any project timeline changes to stakeholders.
-
Oversee material cost management, ensuring timely procurement and quality control.
-
Manage and maintain construction equipment and plant.
Quality Control (50%)
-
Enforce company quality standards and complete necessary checklists.
-
Conduct daily evaluations of subcontractor work and ensure compliance with specifications.
-
Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
-
Oversee concrete testing and material inspections.
Supervision of Subcontractors and Casual Labor (15%)
-
Determine subcontractor needs and allocate tasks accordingly.
-
Supervise daily work assignments and assess quality and progress.
-
Maintain records of casual labor and ensure productivity.
-
Enforce health and safety regulations in compliance with industry standards.
Site Housekeeping (5%)

Maintain a clean and organized construction site at all times.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
-
High school diploma (Grade 12) required.
-
NTC certificate or trade qualification in the building industry (preferred).
Technical Skills & Experience:
-
At least 12 years of experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Strong knowledge of building industry standards (NHBRC guidelines preferred).
