Our client, a leading provider of marine services specializing in vessel support and logistics, is looking for a Service Coordinator to join their team in Durban, KZN. The role involves coordinating customer services and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Responsibilities:

Open vessel files for confirmed orders following company procedures.

Correspond with clients regarding ongoing services and provide progress updates.

Compile documentation and complete service reports.
-
Contact local shipping agents daily for updates on vessel arrivals and departures.
-
Assist with additional tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager.
Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Ability to multitask and manage multiple service requests efficiently.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
-
Willingness to work after hours and weekends if needed.
-
Own reliable transportation.
-
Experience in maritime logistics is an advantage.

Ability to liaise professionally with clients, shipping agents, and internal teams.
- Variable working hours due to the nature of marine operations, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
- Salary: negotiable.
