Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Drive market penetration and identify new business opportunities to grow revenue and market share
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to adapt strategies and maintain competitiveness
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a positive, high-performing culture
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop training plans to enhance team capabilities
- Set clear sales objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the region
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally to strengthen trust and loyalty
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
- Proactively identify risks related to customer relationships or sales operations and implement mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) Technical training would be essential
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, business development, or operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a leadership position
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and developing sales teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve problems effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools
- Knowledge of the networking and technology industry is an advantage
