A well-established catering company based in Somerset West, Cape Town is in search of a Sous Chef to assist with the preparation and running of catering at events including weddings and corporates and high end functions.
Job Requirements:
Chef Diploma/certificate Valid South African Drivers license Own, reliable car essential Minimum of 5 Years experience as Sous Chef within high end catering environment Able to manage the catering of events and lead a team Be able to train staff Computer knowledge Microsoft Office Stock control Ability to work under pressure Willing to work shifts based on the events booked Able to make correct decisions regarding business and staffing issues. Reduce & monitor all wastage. Monitor & log kitchen hygiene reports Excellent communication and client relations skills Reside in the surrounding area of the Helderberg and Stellenbosch areas Please forward your CV with contactable references.
