A leading organisation is looking for an experienced Operations Manager - Administration to lead and manage a team responsible for claims, data, and contributions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, regulatory environment and is committed to driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimise daily administrative functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in claims processing, data management, and contributions. Ensure compliance with Pension Fund Rules, the Pension Funds Act, and other relevant legislation. Provide expert advice on fund rules and benefit allocations, including Section 37 (C) death benefit distribution. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and operational efficiency. Manage stakeholder relationships and address escalated queries with professionalism. Oversee departmental performance, ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs. Support strategic decision-making by contributing insights and reports on operational performance. Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring employee motivation and performance alignment with organisational goals.The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a relevant Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) and professional registration where applicable. Has at least 6 years of job-related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role (preferably within pension administration). Possesses strong knowledge of benefit administration, member data management, and pension fund regulations. Has a working understanding of the Income Tax Act, Divorce Act, Pension Funds Act, and related legislation. Is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in planning and administration. EE Disclaimer:
