Accountant (Contract)

Description:

Our client, a prominent name in the property industry, with nearly 20 years of success in the South African and Sub-Saharan African markets, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract.

Duties:

• Preparation of annual financial statements
• VAT and tax submissions
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Reviews of bank reconciliations
• Processing journal entries
• Management accounts
  Education and Experience:
  
  • BCom Accounting
  • SAIPA or SAICA articles would be an advantage
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role is required
    Skills:
    
    • Experience with CaseWare or Draftworx would be beneficial
