This established and growing retail group is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Cape Town-based team. Job & Company Description:As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and cost management to support business strategy. This role requires a detail-oriented and commercially minded professional who can collaborate with stakeholders to drive financial efficiency and informed decision-making.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business operations.
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends to optimize financial performance.
- Providing insights on cost control, margin analysis, and business profitability.
- Assisting in financial reporting and streamlining processes for operational efficiency.
- Engaging with key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- CIMA qualification preferred (or currently studying towards it).
- A relevant finance degree (BCom or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role.
- Exposure to a retail or FMCG environment is essential.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and business partnering.
