Electrical Design Engineer

Description:

An international BESS manufacturer is seeking an electrical design engineer. As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of BESS projects. Working closely with
multidisciplinary teams, responsible for electrical system design, equipment selection, integration, and testing of
BESS installations. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will contribute
to the successful deployment of renewable energy solutions and support South Africa's transition to a sustainable energy future.


Essential Requirements:
-Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering degree NQF level 8/ 4-year degree/ postgraduate Diploma
-Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in Design and commissioning.
-BESS knowledge
-Knowledge of commercial inverter systems.
-Working knowledge of OHS
-AutoCAD/Solid works (Advantageous)
Soft skills
-Technical report Writing: Essential
-MS Office: Essential
-Presentation skills
