Our client, a leading international manufacturer based in Paarl, is seeking an experienced HR Manager who is available immediately to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance, and support both office and workshop staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee recruitment and workforce planning for office and workshop staff.
- Manage skills development, training, and BBBEE compliance.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour laws (MEIBC, BCEA, LRA, EE, Skills).
- Handle HR administration, payroll, and time & attendance.
- Drive performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage industrial relations, including union negotiations and disciplinary procedures.
- Implement and monitor HR policies and procedures.
- Degree/Diploma in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- 5+ years’ HR experience in a manufacturing environment (or 10+ years with diploma).
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong numerical, communication, and organizational skills.
