Purpose:

Key Performance Areas:
· Collect samples as per testing matrix
· HACCP Meeting
· Calibrations of measuring devices
· Update of master cleaning schedule
· Adhering to audit matrix
· Supplier Evaluations and update of supplier documents
· Evaluation of customer returns
· Factory Inspections
· Update labels on Digi-connect
· Preparation for FSA audit
· Incident report
· Inspection and ordering of PPC & PPE
· Generating of COCs/COAs for customer
· Ensure completion of work by quality controllers (checking of document submissions i.e. process & quality control, production sheets
· Hygiene Inspections
· Pest prevention control
· Facility hygiene and sanitation
· Food Vulnerability Assessments (Spice supplier & meat)
· Inspection and ordering cleaning equipment and chemicals
· Updating process control documents
· Develop, review and maintain the SHEQ policies and procedures.
· Conduct risk assessments and ensure that employees are trained and made aware of the risks associated with their work
· Facilitate the Health and Safety committee meetings and maintain record
· Compile legal appointments and ensure that these are up to date
· Promote SHEQ awareness – conduct training and talks
· Advise and guide management & staff on SHEQ matters
Experience & Qualifications:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification 1 - 3 Year Proven experience as a SHEQ or similar role, preferably in the food or meat manufacturing environments Knowledge of SHEQ protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment within area of responsibility Knowledge of relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
