To perform duties diligently in compliance with statutory and company requirements whilst being aware of the impact of your activities on the safety of yourself and others
Execute duties in accordance with the plant Safety, Health, Environmental, Risk & Quality Management Scheme (SHERQ)
Develop High Standard Visual Critical Control Process Boards which are easy for all to understand using Statistical Process Control, or other suitable tools. Particular emphasis being placed on Step Zero specification and conformity in order to achieve CpK target of > 1.33 (Engineer to aspire on the day to day activities to achieve).
All out of specification material to be clearly defined and actioned using defined non-conformance processes.
All critical process control points to be defined and any issues outside process be clearly analysed down to the root cause with effective corrective and preventative measure instituted.
Ensure all product specifications are up to date with latest process improvements and that Workshop Quality boards are audited to ensure Compliance.
Project Management to support process optimization and new product developments
Assist Quality Lab Supervisor in investigating Customer Complaints to determine RCA, and provide disposition feedback.
Monitor and analyse data as required and provide data on a day to day basis in order to improve the Product Quality within the Operational Workshops.
Audit requirements on a day to day basis focusing primarily on Product Quality within the Plant with External and Internal Defects in mind.
Requirements:
Is this job for you?The ideal candidate must Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Chemical Engineering. 3-5 years’ experience in Process Improvement/Optimization or Quality environment
This role calls for a person who is good at communication, and project management experience in a fast paced environment with product development process.
Experience in managing multiple projects at the time will be ensure success in this role.
