Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Investment Consultant to join their team. The Investment Consultant will be responsible for marketing and selling the Bank’s Deposits, Wealth Management, Wills, and Transactional Banking (Individuals) within the respective region. The role requires providing excellent customer service while ensuring adherence to the Bank’s policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will actively engage with clients, promote the Bank’s products, and contribute to achieving the set sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Deposits
- Achieve monthly sales targets for the Bank’s deposit products.
- Process and submit client applications in compliance with bank policies.
- Capture client information accurately in the banking system.
- Ensure all legal documentation is signed and completed by clients.
- Address insurance confirmations and broker-related queries.
- Conduct needs analysis and provide appropriate investment recommendations.
Wealth Management
- Market and sell unit trust and Wills products.
- Ensure Wealth Management sales targets are met.
- Offer clients professional advice on suitable investment products.
- Complete application forms and maintain proper client correspondence.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and maintain regular client engagements.
- Ensure compliance with FICA and regulatory requirements before account opening.
- Facilitate the opening of performance guarantees in coordination with the legal department.
Transactional Banking
- Market and sell the Bank’s Transactional Banking products to individuals.
- Expand the Bank’s Transactional Banking deposit book by acquiring new clients and servicing existing ones.
- Ensure Transactional Banking sales targets are met.
- Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and services, making recommendations for competitive positioning.
- Educate clients on the Mobile Banking App and enhance product usage.
Sales and Marketing
- Engage with new and existing clients to offer tailored banking products and services.
- Conduct needs analysis and provide investment advice based on client requirements.
- Develop strategies for acquiring new clients through qualified leads and referrals.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge to clients, including investment, wealth management, wills, and performance guarantees.
- Ensure seamless transaction completion by meeting all requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide efficient and effective service to promote the Bank’s offerings.
- Address and resolve client concerns professionally and effectively.
- Handle difficult client queries via face-to-face communication or client visits, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A B.Com degree or relevant qualification.
- Minimum NQF5 level qualification is required.
- FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) compliance is mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial services institution in a sales-related role.
- General banking experience will be advantageous.
