Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established construction company, is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative products, components, or systems by creating technical drawings, conducting analyses, and ensuring designs meet industry standards. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize materials and costs, and oversee testing to ensure quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative products, components, or systems based on project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA) to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing for new designs.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and stress analysis.
- Identify potential design flaws and recommend modifications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide design improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and R&D departments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Present design concepts and updates to stakeholders and clients.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on project requirements.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and production efficiency.
- Conduct cost analysis and budget planning for design projects.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate designs.
- Analyze test results and implement necessary design improvements.
- Ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, engineering technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in Construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
