Description:
The Retail Floor Manager oversees daily retail operations, ensuring excellent customer service, product presentation, and team management. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):
Customer Service & Sales:
Lead staff in delivering excellent customer service.
Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Monitor sales performance and implement growth strategies.
Maintain product knowledge and assist customers.
Operations & Store Presentation:
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and stock availability.
Oversee proper product handling, storage, and display.
Implement merchandising strategies to boost sales.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
Train, supervise, and schedule retail staff.
Foster a motivated and positive work environment.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness.
Requirements:
Retail management experience, preferably in food retail.
Matric
Tertiary qualification (Advantageous)
Strong Management skills
Reporting experience
MS Office skills
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Experience with inventory management and POS systems is a plus.
