Financial Accountant

Description:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Fixed asset month-end reporting
• GL close
• Income tax and VAT returns and compliance
• Preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance
• Review and release supplier payments
• Review and approve supplier invoices on system
  Education Requirements:
  
• Completed Degree in Finance or Accounting
  Job Requirements and Skills:
  
• 3 to 5 years' experience within a financial accounting position essential

Strong MS Excel skills essential Experience in SA tax laws FAR experience Understanding of GAAP principles Deadline driven Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player
