Duties:
Strategic Management: Develop and implement solutions that align with the companys technology vision and business objectives. Solution Design: Design scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions to meet business requirements. Standards and Policies: Establish and maintain best practices for solution development and deployment. Contingency Planning: Ensure solutions are resilient with appropriate contingency plans. Support and Delivery: Ensure solutions support required products, services, and delivery mechanisms. Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years in IT solution design roles. At least 3 years in a solutions architecture capacity. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably in the insurance/fintech industry. Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, microservices architecture, and IT security principles. Experience in enterprise-wide and insurance domain-specific system development and integration. Expertise in creating architectural diagrams and process flows. Familiarity with evolving development standards and frameworks.
