Description:
- Managing all day to day activities within the area
- Monitor sales performance of all stores and staff within the region
- Evaluate performance in the achievement of budgets and take action where necessary
- Monitor expenses
- Identify ways in which to increase sales opportunities within each store
- Protection of all assets through effective implementation of company policies and procedures
- Pro-actively influence stockholding to ensure correct merchandise mix.
- Ensure that promotional activity has been accurately implemented
- Ensure strong visual standards across the stores in-line with company standards
- Ensure store lay-outs are in-line with company standards
- Ensure a strong level of customer service across the area
- Ensure that company administration procedures are being adhered to
- Knowledge of competitor business
- People management
- To be accountable for the processes of succession planning, staff development and recruitment planning to ensure all positions within the area are staffed to the optimum level
- Staff training sessions â?? guide stores by means of a training plan
- Ensure customer friendly and efficient environment Skills | Experience Required:
- Chain store Area Manager experience
