Chroni-Co, situated outside of Paarl, Western Cape , has a position available for a Junior QA Pharmacist. The purpose of the position is to implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, in order to ensure continuous compliance with SAHPRA and other international cGMP and Regulatory requirements.
Duties will include: *Maintain site master file and local SOPs.*Chair monthly meetings for Change Control, non-conformance, CAPA, and hygiene *Review and track change controls, deviations, and assess their impact on quality systems *Investigate customer complaints and ensure effective CAPA actions *Perform internal audits, compile reports, and follow up on CAPA *Assist with external audits and follow up on CAPA *Participate in risk assessments on QMS and departmental processes *Conduct root cause investigations for incidents and deviations, and CAPA *Prepare and participate in Quality Management Reviews, identifying trends *Review and approve Master Batch Documents for compliance *Review APQR reports and initiate CAPA as needed *Assist in reviewing completed batch records for process compliance *Prepare monthly reports on deviations, change controls, CAPA, risk assessments, and reprocesses *Apply for, manage, and reconcile narcotics trade permits *Maintain narcotics register and oversee customer complaints and product recall processes *All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification (B.Pharm);
• Registered Pharmacist with the SAPC;
• 2-3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry;
• Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory environment;
• QA experience essential;
• Knowledge of cGMP & EU GMP regulations and Regulatory Requirements;
• Experience working with QMS systems;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
• Valid driver’s license.
