The incumbent’s responsibilities will include, amongst others, the following:
· To coordinate training for all Nkomati employees and to capture, update, and retrieve information on training done from an LMS system, which includes but is not limited to:
1. Training coordination
2. Information and document control
3. Invoicing
· Maintenance of the HR Information System.
· Conducting Systems Audits, including Audits on Payroll vs. HR Information Systems (HRIS), compliance of all contractor companies with the regulations of the department of labour
· Maintenance of Employee Personal files.
· Compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
· Providing relevant information per requests received from internal and external customers.
· Facilitate, administer, and conduct the engagement process from advertising, recruiting, onboarding and settling in.
· Facilitate, administer, and conduct the termination process
· Administer Recruitment Travel Claims
· Administer Movements, Acting Allowances and promotions
· Monthly submission of payroll-related information
· Coordinate Relocation of new engagements.
· Safety awareness and ensuring the working area and equipment are clean, safe, and in good working condition at all times.
· Ensure and comply with safety standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
· Dealing with disciplinary and grievance procedures for all employees.
· Managing the human resources portion of employee wellness.
· It is essential to note that Nkomati Mine is under care and maintenance with a small staff complement, and human resources staff must carry out the full range of related activities at all levels.
Requirements:
- Communication: 5 to 6 years
- Community Development: 8 to 9 years
- Human Resource Development: 10 years or more
- Employment Equity: 10 years or more
- Employee Relations: 10 years or more
- Remuneration: 10 years or more
- Hr Admin: 10 years or more
- Employee Wellness: 10 years or more
- Hr Systems: 10 years or more
- Policy And Procedure: 10 years or more
The following qualifications and experience are considered essential for this position:
· Grade 12/Standard 10
· National Diploma or relevant qualification NQF Level 6/Degree in Human Resources
· Computer Literacy
o All MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
o Knowledge of and experience with human resources management systems like Oracle, Sage VIP, Talenger, or SAP
· Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience covering employee relations, human resources administration, and people development, of which three must have been on a senior human resources officer or superintendent level.
The following qualifications and experience would be advantageousl:
· National Certificate OD ETD Practitioner NQF 5
· Certificate in Assessor Training
· Certificate in Facilitation
· Certification as Moderator
