Description:
Hire Resolve’s client in automotive industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Master Technicians from South Africa to join their team in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect customers’ vehicles/goods, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
- Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
- Conduct electronic visual health checks (eVHC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
- Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
- Procure parts required to complete the work instructions.
- Ensure a final inspection of all work is implemented and when requested, fully test if safety related or a customer concern.
- Record accurate details of work done on Repair Order and other information required by policy and statutory procedure.
- Compliance with Departmental and Company Policy, Statutory Legislation, Health and Safety, CVP
- Participate in on-going training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.
Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate in Motor Mechanics (QCTO accredited).
- Master Technician Certificate with Ford, Mazda or Nissan.
- 5+ years of experience as a qualified technician in the automotive industry.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- EV experience
- Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and vehicle software.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to permanently relocate to the UK
