Our client in Yzerfontein is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Front Office Receptionist, to oversee the daily operations of our front of house. The preferred applicant must possess exceptional communication skills with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The focus of the role is to ensure that our guests have a positive and memorable experience from the initial inquiry, check-in to check-out. Key Qualifications and Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalÂ
Strong leadership and problem-solving skillsÂ
Capability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines with effective prioritizationÂ
Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft OfficeÂ
Knowledge of NightsBridge Property Management system will be an advantageÂ
Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and ability to adapt to changeÂ
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentialityÂ
Capacity to work non-traditional schedules, such as weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee front desk operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.Â
Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.Â
Maintain front office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.Â
Handle guest reservations and check-ins/check-outs accurately and promptly.Â
Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests to ensure satisfaction.Â
Maintain precise records of guest information and financial transactions.Â
Prepare daily reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Â
Manage inventory of office and guest supplies, ordering as necessary.Â
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.Â
Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff to provide excellent customer service.
