Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a leading engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects , is currently seeking a skilled Engineering Surveyor with a strong background in road construction to join their site team in Durban.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Resident Engineer in accurately mapping and marking out land for all project aspects.

Ensure road infrastructure, including all structures, is built according to setting out plans and specifications.
-
Conduct regular site inspections and survey measurements to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, identifying any deviations or issues.
-
Collect data using various instruments, including total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanners.
-
Inspect and verify the accuracy of quantities claimed for completed work.
-
Train and mentor Survey Students in mentorship programs.

Participate in site project meetings.

Assist in collecting data to accurately prepare as-built drawings.
Requirements:

National Diploma in Surveying or Civil Engineering.
-
10+ years of surveying experience in roads, bridges, and civil projects.
-
Medically fit with no limitations.
-
Valid driver's license is essential.
