Description:Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Equipment Supervisor to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and availability of mobile mining equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, including Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise a team of operators, artisans, and contractors, ensuring tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance and availability, analyzing data to improve reliability and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits on mobile equipment for safety, functionality, and legal compliance.
- Manage inventory and availability of critical spares, tools, and consumables for mobile fleet maintenance.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/Millwright/Auto Electrician)
- N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- 5 years' experience on Mobile Equipment, where 2 years should be in a Supervisory position.
- Knowledge/experience on the following equipment: (CAT 789C and D dump truck, CAT 777D and G water bowsers, Komatsu 730-10, Mobile compressors, generators and lighting plants)
- Valid Driver's License
