TWK Agri, with its head office in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, is seeking dynamic and self-motivated 2023/2024 graduates to apply for a Graduate position within our Trade Division. This exciting opportunity allows recent graduates to gain valuable work experience in the Procurement and Supply Chain field while working within a reputable company.
Position Overview:
As a Graduate Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in the administrative buying function of our Procurement and Supply Chain operations. The role will involve supporting the administrative team with procurement processes, managing supplier records, and assisting with various purchasing-related tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the procurement process by managing purchase orders, supplier communication, and inventory control
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information
- Ensure all buying activities are documented and processed accurately within the system
- Support the team with vendor management and assist in resolving any procurement-related issues
- Prepare reports and data analyses using Excel and Word
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Perform general administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Matric / Grade 12
- A Diploma / Degree obtained in 2023/2024 within a relevant field, such as Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and Word
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- A driver’s license (Code 08) is advantageous
