Duties:
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and local regulations.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to support business decision-making.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
- Oversee taxation, audit processes, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications & skills:
- A CA(SA) qualification is a must.
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience, with specific expertise in IFRS 17.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
