Engineering CAD Designer – Autodesk Inventorð Location: Phesantekraal, Cape TownMy client specializes in custom-designed production line equipment for the bakery industry, are seeking a CAD Designer proficient in Autodesk Inventor to join their team Key Responsibilities:- Develop 3D models and technical drawings for custom machinery using Autodesk Inventor.
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team to translate concepts into accurate, manufacturable designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with engineering and manufacturing standards.
- Work with the manufacturing team to support smooth production and resolve design-related issues.
- Revise and update drawings throughout the design and manufacturing process.
âï¸ Minimum 5 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor, specifically in custom mechanical
design for food production environments.
âï¸ Familiarity with Autodesk VAULT will be advantageous.
âï¸ Strong mechanical design knowledge, particularly relating to production line equipment.
âï¸ Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
âï¸ Must be exceptionally creative and able to inspire and lead team members.
âï¸ Must be deadline-driven and able to deliver under pressure in a project-based environment.

- A National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
