We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Group Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified CA(SA) with 1-2 years of post-article experience outside of audit. Consolidation of group financial statements and reporting. Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and review management reports for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for group operations. Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policies. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Support in group-level audits and regulatory filings. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements. Requirements:
Newly qualified CA(SA). 1-2 years of post-article experience in a financial accounting role (preferably outside of audit). Experience with group financial reporting and consolidations. Strong understanding of IFRS, financial accounting principles, and tax compliance. Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
