Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
Perform repairs and servicing on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and standards. Identify and confirm the necessary parts for service or repairs and ensure accurate parts ordering. Adhere to all workshop policies, procedures, and safety standards. Ensure all used parts are securely stored in a plastic bag in the vehicles boot, or returned to the Warranty Clerk in the case of warranty work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all vehicle covers, such as seat and fender covers, are kept clean and in good condition. Report any faulty or broken tools and equipment to the Foreman or Workshop Manager immediately. Use special tools and equipment in line with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Mentor and share technical knowledge with apprentices, providing guidance through practice, explanation, and regular work monitoring. Assist apprentices in resolving faults and improving their technical skillsMinimum Requirements:
Qualified Petrol/Diesel Technician, with relevant certifications and training. Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, demonstrating a strong understanding of both petrol and diesel engine systems. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, with expertise in following manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
