RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and the board of directors Manage the company's cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting Manage the company's tax planning and compliance Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and timeliness Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's financial practices are in line with current standardsREQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree/diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field Relevant professional certification is preferred Minimum of 8 years’ experience in finance with 2 + years in a similar role Proven ability to lead a medium size team of +-10 Construction and Property finance experience highly advantageousSKILLS
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership and people management skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
