Description:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Managing accounts payable and receivable efficiently
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Assisting with audits and preparing relevant financial documentation
Leading and mentoring junior bookkeeping staff
Overseeing cash flow, payroll processing, and bank transactions
Utilizing advanced accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
Handling VAT, tax returns, and financial reporting
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
A proactive problem-solver with great time management skills
Experience in managing financial records for small to medium-sized businesses is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with different departments and stakeholders
Qualification:
A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
