Job Opportunity: Group Accountant (Newly Qualified CA(SA)) We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Group Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified CA(SA) with 1-2 years of post-article experience outside of audit. - Consolidation of group financial statements and reporting.
- Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and review management reports for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for group operations.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policies.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Support in group-level audits and regulatory filings.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
- Newly qualified CA(SA) .
- 1-2 years of post-article experience in a financial accounting role (preferably outside of audit).
- Experience with group financial reporting and consolidations.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial accounting principles, and tax compliance.
- Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
