Description:
To handle customer sales orders, which includes receiving, processing, invoicing and co-coordinating the dispatch of all incoming customer sales orders so that customer requirements can be efficiently and effectively met.
Deal with all valid incoming sales orders. Confirm prices, stock and delivery between customer and warehouse and details of delivery or pickup. Deal with all queries , within the scope of this position. Ensure all al l credit notes to be authorise and ensure credit notes, processed within the current financial month. COD sales and payments to be handled in accordance with company procedures. Record and distribute problem log (customer complaints) to responsible person. Retain records of all customer information and distribute market intelligence reports to all sales staff as and when necessary.
Aid and support the Sales Representative out in the field
Requirements:
- Negotiation Skills: 3 to 4 years
- Communication Skills: 3 to 4 years
- Selling Techniques: 3 to 4 years
- Deal Closer: 3 to 4 years
Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification. Prior Internal Sales/or selling experience and in in dealing with customers can be beneficial. Techncial competence and understanding of products and applications will be an important requirement in this position. The ideal candidate may have had exposure to various industries such as the construction, automobile, retail/hardware , electrical and mining.
Dynamic, energetic, self starter and confident individual. Hunter/Seller mindset.
General knowledge and understanding of selling techniques to facilitate selling to customers with confidence. No chances please.
