Description:
UI/UX Designer to join our team in Johannesburg for an exciting project of 12 months. This role will be instrumental in enhancing the user experience of the data platform, ensuring it is intuitive, engaging, and meets the needs of our diverse user base and collaborate closely with the development team and stakeholders to translate user needs and business goals into compelling design solutions.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools. Solid understanding of user research methodologies, interaction design principles, and information architecture. Experience in designing for web-based platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. An interest in sustainability and ESG principles is a bonus.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline is preferred. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience with the following Technologies: .Net 9.0, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Server Python, LlamaIndex, Pandas, etc. Microservices, CQRS, EDA, Clean Code principles, etc. Vue.js 3, Nuxt, JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwindcss, HTML, CSS
