Description:
The Truck Workshop department currently has a vacancy for a detail orientated, process-driven, dedicated individual to join their team. This position requires someone who is able to work in a fast paced, demanding and pressurized environment.
Our comprehensive in-house technical facilities, staffed by Qualified Engineers and Artisans, are responsible for our fleet and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, inspecting, repairing and maintaining our fleet and equipment.
Qualifying Criteria
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent Qualified Diesel Mechanic Red Seal Trade Test certificate Code 14 Drivers License and valid PDP Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Qualified Diesel Technician specializing in truck fleet maintenance Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel) Must be able to work with minimum supervision Experience working with an Electronic Maintenance system Knowledgeable on the Occupational Health & Safety Act Sound communication skills (understand, read and write English) Must be prepared to work overtime when required

Standard hours
07:30 – 17:00 Monday - Thursday
07:30 – 16:00 Fridays
May be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
