Tractor mechanic Workshop Foreman (Agri) in Pietermaritzburg region.To direct and manage the efficient functioning of the workshop in its entirety. Inclusive of workshop employees, project management and time management.
To ensure the workshop department runs at a profit.
The Workshop Foreman position requires reduced hours of
technical support to key customers.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Ensure the day to day effective management of the Workshop floor
- Ensure the effective management of workshop related administration
- Attend to pro-active customer support alerts
- Ensure the effective and efficient administrative management and customer service
delivery / liaison
- Daily execution of technical support in terms of equipment servicing, repairs, and
technology / precision farming equipment support (at reduced hours to allow for admin
requirements)
- Ensure and adhere to Health and Safety Standards, as well as ISO Standards
- Protect and manage the company machinery and tools
- Ensure effective Human Capital Management of all workshop staff
- Manage and oversee the up-to-date training of technicians
MUST have a trade test.
