This role involves managing Key Account Managers, driving revenue retention and expansion, and developing strategic relationships within the automotive supply chain sector. Main Duties:
  • Business Growth & Strategy: Drive new business development, manage key accounts, and respond to tenders.
  • Revenue & Compliance: Monitor billing, budgets, and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Team Management: Set annual goals, conduct performance reviews, manage resources, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Governance & Reporting: Oversee contracts, insurance, penalties, and rate increases while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Relationship Management: Engage with customers through operational meetings and strategic reviews while swiftly handling escalations.
  • Solution Design: Provide technical and process guidance, ensuring efficient and profitable logistics solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in supply chain management, with 3+ years managing automotive logistics accounts (road freight).
  • Strong experience in tender responses and logistics solutions for auto brands.
  • National Diploma or equivalent (experience in vehicle sales/leasing not applicable).
  • Advantageous: OEM supply chain/logistics experience or exposure to air/sea freight and warehousing.
