Building Estimator

Description:

Building Estimator. This role is critical in securing new projects through accurate and competitive cost estimation while also contributing to business development initiatives. Required Skills and Expertise
Extensive knowledge of SANS, Forms of Contract (JBCC, NEC) contracts and South African Construction Regulations

Proficient in CCS Candy

Experience in project scheduling and understanding of construction programming principles.

Strong ability to collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless transition from tender to execution.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Minimum of 10 – 15 Years of experience in building estimation within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a senior role

Code 8 Drivers Licence essential – Own Transport
