- Assess the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses applying for financial products or services.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements, reports, and credit history.
- Develop credit models, make recommendations, and approve or decline credit applications based on risk analysis.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure the company's credit risk policies are adhered to.
- Maintain and update credit reports and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Monitor and manage the performance of credit portfolios, identifying potential risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures to improve the credit evaluation process.
- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding credit approvals and adjustments.
- B Com in Finance or Accounting.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Credit Analysis, preferably within the financial services sector, including underwriting and insurance.
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk management and financial analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as insurance and underwriting processes.
- Proficient in financial modeling, credit risk evaluation, and analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
